Derived from wholesome and often “food grade” ingredients, Earth Juice offers a complete line of products, both liquid and dry. This pioneering formula brings together loads of bioactive enzymes and amino acids with traditional organic additives like bone and blood meal, bat guano, sea kelp, and molasses.

Though Earth Juice products no longer carry an OMRI endorsement, they remain 100% organic and OMRI compliant. They have made no change to their once OMRI certified recipe. It would appear that Earth Juice creators have simply opted out of the increasingly politically motivated circus that OMRI has become.

Earth Juice grow is tested at a modest 2-1-1, while the bloom recipe comes in at 0-3-1. Do not be misled by these low numbers! These products grow plants shockingly well. By stimulating bioactivity, Earth Juice fosters a healthy soil environment that leads to stunning growth and fluorescence.

Earth Juice liquids are very much alive. They are so full of enzymes their containers have been known to swell or even explode when not stored properly. To mitigate this, the makers of Earth Juice bring the pH of their batches down very low to stabilize the product for bottling, and to assure shelf life. Earth Juice liquids will always require vigorous agitation prior to use. This can be accomplished by simply shaking the bottle, or using a paint mixer mounted in a high speed drill.

Earth Juice makes a number of great liquid products that are perfectly suited for hydroponics. It has even been rumored that its Chico California creator invented the word “hydrorganics”. Having firsthand experience using Earth Juice in an Ebb and Flow system, I have a few cautionary notes to add.

Because Earth Juice products are stabilized in a very acidic state, they can really confuse hydroponic growers. Relax! After mixing all the necessary Earth Juice products in the reservoir, allow the solution to “breath” for 12-18 hours. While you wait, you can actually watch the pH climb back up to a manageable level.

Earth Juice is the real McCoy of organics. It’s made from good stuff, and produces fine results. The pH fluctuation mentioned above can create complications for novice growers, because of this I do not recommend beginners attempt its use in hydroponic systems. The only downside of this product line is that it contains large organic particles, making it problematic for use through fertilizer injectors and drip irrigation systems.
